Indications
- Daily water-soluble vitamin and protein requirements in patients receiving IV nutrition
- Malnutrition and protein deficiency
Dosage
Adults and Children ≥10 kg:
- 1 vial (10 ml) daily
Children <10 kg:
- 1 ml/kg body weight/day
Instructions:
- Take 10 ml solution from 250 ml amino acid bottle
- Inject into vial (yellow solution forms)
- Take solution from vial and inject back into bottle
- Administer slow IV infusion (20 drops/minute)
Side effects
Side Effects:
- Allergic reactions in hypersensitive patients (e.g., Thiamine)
