Indications
- Iron, Vitamin-B and Zinc deficiency (especially during pregnancy and lactation)
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- 10 ml (2 teaspoonful) twice daily
Child Dose (Oral):
- 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) once or twice daily
- Infants: 0.33 ml/kg body weight daily
Side effects
Side Effects:
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
Precautions & warnings
Precautions:
- Caution in conditions where there is a risk of iron overload (hemochromatosis, thalassemia, haemosiderosis or haemolytic anaemia)
- Iron chelates with tetracycline and absorption may be impaired
- Lactation: Present in breast milk, use caution
