Description
Light Paraffin and White Paraffin form an emollient film on the skin surface to reduce moisture loss, hydrate, soothe, and soften the skin. It protects the skin to help prevent future dryness.

Pharmacology
Light Paraffin and White Paraffin form a protective layer on the skin surface to reduce transepidermal water loss, helping maintain appropriate skin moisture levels.
Mechanism of action
Softens and hydrates the skin and prevents moisture loss.
Dosage
Bar:
- Using very little water, make a rich lather, massage and cleanse affected areas
- Use as often as required
Emollient (Bath):
- Adult: 1-3 capful to 8 inch bath water, soak for 10-20 minutes
- Infant: ½-2 capful to a wash basin of water
Administration
- Apply to skin: Wet the skin and rub in a small quantity of emollient, rinse and pat dry
- Bar: Using very little water, make a rich lather, massage and rinse
- Use as often as required

Not generally applicable (use as needed); consult doctor if needed.
