Description
This combination contains sodium chloride (major extracellular cation for electrolyte and fluid balance), potassium chloride (major intracellular cation for nerve impulse conduction and muscle contraction), sodium bicarbonate (raises pH by providing bicarbonate ions), and polyethylene glycol (macrogol) - an osmotic laxative that causes water retention in stool, increasing stool frequency.

Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- Constipation: 1 sachet daily; increasing to 2-3 sachets daily if necessary
- Faecal impaction: 8 sachets a day for no more than 3 days
Administration
- Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125 mL of water
- Then drink it
