Pharmacology

Nutryelt is a balanced parenteral nutrition multi-trace element solution containing iron zinc copper manganese fluorine cobalt iodine selenium molybdenum and chromium.

Mechanism of action

Meets the body's essential trace element requirements.

Dosage

Dosage:

  • Baseline or moderate requirements: 1 ampoule (10 ml)/day
  • High requirements: 2 ampoules (20 ml)/day
  • Dilute in 250 ml 0.9% NaCl or 5% glucose
Administration
  • For intravenous infusion
  • Add to parenteral nutrition mixtures
  • Use within 48 hours after dilution

  • Hyperglycemia
  • Electrolyte imbalances
  • Infection (due to IV administration)
