Description

Vitamin B plays a role in synthesis and maintenance of coenzyme A, necessary for lipid metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, tissue respiration and glycogenolysis. Pyridoxine functions in metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, essential in Hb formation and GABA synthesis. Riboflavin is required for energy utilization from food and essential for normal tissue respiration. Thiamine forms thiamine pyrophosphate, an essential coenzyme in carbohydrate metabolism.

Pharmacology

Dosage

Adult Dose (Syrup):

  • 10 ml (2 teaspoonful) twice daily

Pediatric Dose (Syrup):

  • 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) twice daily
Administration
  • Use measuring spoon
  • Take at the same time each day
  • Best taken with food
Missed dose

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember; skip if it's almost time for next dose; do not double the dose.
