শুষ্ক, বিরক্ত চোখ প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক চক্ষু: প্রয়োজনে দিনে 3-4 বার পর্যন্ত 1-2 ফোঁটা লাগান। অতি সংবেদনশীলতা। পলিভিনাইল অ্যালকোহল, একটি ননওনিক সার্ফ্যাক্ট্যান্ট, একটি স্থিতিশীল এজেন্ট, লুব্রিকেন্ট এবং ফার্মাসিউটিক্যাল উত্পাদনে সান্দ্রতা বৃদ্ধির জন্য একটি এজেন্ট হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। চোখের প্রস্তুতিতে, পলিভিনাইল অ্যালকোহল সান্দ্রতা বাড়ানোর জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং এর ফলে চোখের সাথে সক্রিয় উপাদানটির যোগাযোগের সময় দীর্ঘায়িত হয়। এটি প্রায়ই শুষ্ক চোখের জন্য কৃত্রিম অশ্রু প্রস্তুতি এবং কন্টাক্ট লেন্স সমাধান পাওয়া যায়। নরম কন্টাক্ট লেন্স ব্যবহার করা যাবে না। চোখে হালকা দংশন/জ্বলা/জ্বালা; অস্থায়ী ঝাপসা দৃষ্টি।

Mechanism of action
Polyvinyl alcohol, a nonionic surfactant, is used as a stabilising agent, lubricant and as an agent to increase viscosity in pharmaceutical manufacturing. In eye preparations, polyvinyl alcohol is used to increase the viscosity and thereby prolonging contact time of the active ingredient with the eye. It is often found in artificial tears preparations for dry eye and in contact lens solutions.
Dosage
Adult Dose: Adult Ophth: Instill 1-2 drops up to 3- 4 times/day when needed.
Side effects
Mild stinging/burning/irritation in the eye; temporary blurred vision.
Precautions & warnings
Not to be used with soft contact lens.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
