Prednisolone Acetate + Sulfacetamide Sodium Eye prep

স্টেরয়েড-প্রতিক্রিয়াশীল প্রদাহজনিত চোখের অবস্থা, প্যালপেব্রাল এবং বুলবার কনজাংটিভা প্রদাহজনক অবস্থা, কর্নিয়া, দীর্ঘস্থায়ী অগ্রবর্তী ইউভেইটিস এবং কর্নিয়ার আঘাত, কনজাংটিভাইটিস; প্রদাহ/ইনফেকশন আই মলম: 1/2 ইঞ্চি টিআইডি/কিউআইডি এবং ঘুমানোর সময়। চোখের ড্রপ হিসাবে: দিনে এবং শোবার সময় 2-3 ড্রপ 1-2 ঘন্টা। সালফা, গ্লুকোমা, হারপিস, ভ্যাক্সিনিয়া, ভেরিসেলা, এবং কর্নিয়া বা কনজেক্টিভার অন্যান্য ভাইরাল রোগ, চোখের মাইকোব্যাকটেরিয়াল সংক্রমণ, চোখের গঠনের ছত্রাকজনিত রোগ, যেকোনো উপাদানের প্রতি অতি সংবেদনশীলতা থেকে অ্যালার্জি। কর্নিয়ার বিদেশী দেহের জটিল অপসারণের পরে। প্রেডনিসোলন পলিমারফোনিউক্লিয়ার লিউকোসাইটের স্থানান্তরকে বাধা দিয়ে এবং কৈশিক ব্যাপ্তিযোগ্যতা বৃদ্ধির বিপরীতে প্রদাহ হ্রাস করে। এটি লিম্ফোসাইট এবং ইওসিনোফিলগুলির কার্যকলাপ এবং উত্পাদন হ্রাস করে ইমিউন সিস্টেমকে দমন করে। সালফেসেটামাইডের গ্রাম-পজিটিভ এবং গ্রাম-নেতিবাচক জীবের বিস্তৃত পরিসরে ব্যাকটিরিওস্ট্যাটিক প্রভাব রয়েছে। এটি নিউক্লিক অ্যাসিড সংশ্লেষণে হস্তক্ষেপ করে এইভাবে কোএনজাইম ডাইহাইড্রোফলিক অ্যাসিডে PABA রূপান্তরকে বাধা দেয়। শুধুমাত্র স্টেরয়েড উদ্বেগের কারণে স্বল্প মেয়াদে ব্যবহার করুন। সালফাস এবং স্টেরয়েডের পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া (সুপারইনফেকশন, গ্লুকোমা, ইত্যাদি) এর প্রতি অতি সংবেদনশীলতার জন্য দেখুন। দীর্ঘায়িত কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েড ডোজ করার পরে কর্নিয়ার ছত্রাকের সংক্রমণের সম্ভাবনা বিবেচনা করা উচিত। গুরুতর শুষ্ক চোখের রোগীদের সতর্কতার সাথে ব্যবহার করুন। এই ওষুধটি প্রয়োগ করার সময় এক বা দুই মিনিটের জন্য আপনার চোখ সাময়িকভাবে দংশন করতে পারে বা জ্বলতে পারে। চোখের অস্বস্তি, শুকনো চোখ, ছিঁড়ে যাওয়া, চুলকানি বা লালভাব দেখা দিতে পারে। কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েড/অ্যান্টিব্যাকটেরিয়াল সংমিশ্রণ ওষুধের সাথে প্রতিকূল প্রতিক্রিয়া ঘটেছে যা কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েড উপাদান, অ্যান্টিব্যাকটেরিয়াল উপাদান বা সংমিশ্রণের জন্য দায়ী করা যেতে পারে। এই ওষুধটি দীর্ঘায়িত বা বারবার ব্যবহারের ফলে চোখের সংক্রমণের নতুন ধরনের (যেমন, ভাইরাল, ছত্রাক) হতে পারে। এই ড্রাগ একটি খুব গুরুতর এলার্জি প্রতিক্রিয়া অসম্ভাব্য. একটি গুরুতর অ্যালার্জির প্রতিক্রিয়ার লক্ষণগুলির মধ্যে অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকতে পারে: ফুসকুড়ি, চুলকানি/ফোলাভাব (বিশেষ করে মুখ/জিহ্বা/গলা), গুরুতর মাথা ঘোরা, শ্বাসকষ্ট, সংক্রমণের লক্ষণ (যেমন, জ্বর, ক্রমাগত গলা ব্যথা), সহজে রক্তপাত/ঘা, হলুদ হওয়া চোখের/ত্বক, গাঢ় প্রস্রাব।

Steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions, Inflammatory conditions of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, Cornea, Chronic anterior uveitis and corneal injury, Conjunctivitis;

Prednisolone decreases inflammation by inhibition of migration of polymorphonuclear leukocytes and reversal of increased capillary permeability. It suppresses the immune system by reducing the activity and production of the lymphocytes and eosinophils. Sulfacetamide has bacteriostatic effect on a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms. It interferes with nucleic acid synthesis thus blocking conversion of PABA to the coenzyme dihydrofolic acid.

Adult Dose: Inflammation/Infection Eye Ointment: 1/2 inch TID/QID & at bed time. As eye drop: 2-3 drops 1-2hr during day & at bed time.

This medication may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for a minute or two when applied. Eye discomfort, dry eyes, tearing, itching, or redness may occur. Adverse reactions have occurred with corticosteroid/antibacterial combination drugs which can be attributed to the corticosteroid component, the antibacterial component, or the combination. Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a new type of eye infection (e.g., viral, fungal). A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing, signs of infection (e.g., fever, persistent sore throat), easy bleeding/bruising, yellowing of the eyes/skin, dark urine.

Use for short term only because of steroid concerns. Watch for hypersensitivity to sulfas & steroid side effects (superinfection, glaucoma, etc). The possibility of fungal infections of the cornea should be considered after prolonged corticosteroid dosing. Use with caution in patients with severe dry eye.

Allergies to sulfa, glaucoma, Herpes, vaccinia, varicella, & other viral diseases of cornea or conjunctiva, mycobacterial infection of eye, fungal diseases of ocular structures, hypersensitivity to any ingredients. After uncomplicated removal of corneal foreign body.
