Description
Salicylic Acid 2% Topical acts as a keratolytic agent. It softens and destroys the stratum corneum by increasing endogenous hydration, causing the horny layer of the skin to swell, soften, and then desquamate. In acne, it helps break down comedones and improve cell turnover.

Salicylic acid softens and destroys the stratum corneum by increasing endogenous hydration, causing the horny layer of the skin to swell, soften, and then desquamate. In acne, it helps break down comedones, improve cell turnover, and keep pores clear.

Dosage
Adult Dose (Topical):
- Acne: Apply thinly to affected area 1-3 times daily; reduce to once daily or every other day if dryness or peeling occur
- Hyperkeratotic and scaling skin conditions: Apply to affected area of skin and/or scalp 3-4 times daily
Administration
- For external use only
- Apply thinly to the affected area
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes
Missed dose
If you miss an application, apply at the next scheduled time.

- Use on moles, birthmarks, unusual warts, or warts on the face
