About Asgar Ali Hospital

Asgar Ali Hospital is a 350-bed multi-disciplinary, tertiary-care corporate hospital at Gandaria in Old Dhaka, serving patients since 2016. It is a concern of City Group, one of Bangladesh's largest industrial and commercial conglomerates, which began its journey in 1972.

The hospital covers the full spectrum of medical specialities across 37 departments, from cardiology, cardiac surgery and neurosurgery to oncology, nephrology, hepatobiliary and liver surgery, and paediatrics. It is widely recognised for its neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and runs a dedicated Child Development Centre, Pain Clinic and ROP Clinic alongside its critical care and accident & emergency services.

Support services operate round the clock and include emergency care, ambulance, blood bank, pharmacy, day care, vaccination centre, optical shop and an on-site cafeteria. Patients can book appointments, register, view diagnostic reports and pay online, or use the hospital's Android and iOS apps. Structured health check-up packages are available for preventive screening.

The group also runs Fazlur Rahman Medical College and Fazlur Rahman Nursing & Midwifery Institute, and has announced plans for an 800-bed specialised hospital on a five-acre campus.
