পিঠে ব্যথা, কাঁধে ব্যথা, ঘাড় ব্যথা, জয়েন্টে ব্যথা, বাত, স্ট্রেন প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: আক্রান্ত স্থানে প্রয়োগ করুন প্রতিদিন 3 থেকে 4 বারের বেশি নয়। 12 বছর বা তার বেশি বয়সী শিশু: আক্রান্ত স্থানে প্রয়োগ করুন প্রতিদিন 3 থেকে 4 বারের বেশি নয়। স্যালিসিলেট বা এর যেকোনো উপাদানের প্রতি অতি সংবেদনশীলতা। গুরুতর কিডনি বৈকল্য। অ্যান্টি-ইনফ্ল্যামেটরি, অ্যানালজেসিয়া, স্থানীয় অ্যানেশেসিয়া। মেনথল প্রধানত সাইনোসাইটিস, ব্রঙ্কাইটিস এবং অনুরূপ অবস্থার লক্ষণীয় উপশমের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি একটি ইনহেলেশন, মলম বা প্যাস্টিল হিসাবে ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে। চোখ এবং শ্লেষ্মা ঝিল্লির সাথে যোগাযোগ এড়িয়ে চলুন। এলাকা ধোয়া পর্যন্ত শক্তভাবে ব্যান্ডেজ করবেন না, মোড়ানো বা আবরণ করবেন না। এটি ক্ষত বা ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ ত্বকে প্রয়োগ করা উচিত নয়। এটি গোসলের পরপরই ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়। লাগানোর পর হাত ভালো করে ধুয়ে নিন। ত্বকের দমকা/পোড়া/ঝনঝন সংবেদন। লালভাব বা জ্বালা হতে পারে, বিশেষ করে সংবেদনশীল ত্বকের ব্যক্তিদের মধ্যে। প্রতিকূল প্রতিক্রিয়াগুলি সম্ভবত জড়িত হল হালকা থেকে মাঝারি স্থানীয় জ্বালা, এরিথেমা, ফুসকুড়ি, ডিসক্যামেশন, প্রুরাইটিস এবং অ্যাপ্লিকেশন সাইটে আপেক্ষিক স্থানীয় প্রতিক্রিয়া।
Indications
Back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, joint pain, arthritis, strains
Mechanism of action
Anti-inflammatory, analgesia, local anesthesia. Menthol is used mainly for the symptomatic relief of sinusitis, bronchitis and similar conditions. It may be used as an inhalation, ointment or pastilles.
Dosage
Adult Dose: Adults: Apply on affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Child Dose: Children 12 years of age and older: Apply on affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily.
Side effects
Stinging/burning/tingling sensation of skin. Redness or irritation may occur, especially in persons with sensitive skin. Adverse reactions possibly involved are mild to moderate local irritation, erythema, rash, desquamation, pruritis and relative local reaction at the application site.
Precautions & warnings
Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not bandage tightly, wrap or cover until washing the area. It should not be applied to wounds or damaged skin. It should not be used immediately after bath. Wash hand thoroughly after applying.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salicylate or any of its ingredients. Severe renal impairment.
