Alpha-Lipoic Acid is a potent antioxidant and neurotrophic supplement indicated for peripheral and diabetic neuropathies, sciatica, and nerve pain.
Indications
Peripheral and diabetic neuropathies, Sciatica, backache, cervical syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, Migraine headaches.
Pharmacology
Acts through metal chelating, regenerating vitamins C & E, scavenging free radicals, and reducing neuropathic pain.
Dosage
For Adult use only. It is recommended to take 2 capsules once daily or 1 capsule twice daily, preferably on an empty stomach or as directed by physicians.
Side effects
Rare side effects include insomnia, fatigue, diarrhea, and skin rash.
Use in pregnancy
Use with caution or under medical supervision during pregnancy.
