Desogestrel is a medicine used as an oral contraceptive pill to prevent pregnancy. It helps to prevent the release and fertilization of the egg by sperm. Adult Dose: Oral Oral contraception Adult: 75 mcg daily when used alone. For monophasic combined oral contraceptives: Typically, 150 mcg daily; for triphasic combined oral contraceptives: 50-150 mcg daily.

These could be symptoms of a blood clot in a vein.
