Indications
- Nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness
- Vertigo associated with diseases affecting the vestibular system
- Radiation sickness
- Prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with emergency contraceptive pill (ECP)
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- Motion sickness: 25-50 mg, 1 hour before travel; repeat every 24 hours if needed
- Vertigo: 25-100 mg daily in divided doses; discontinue if no response after 1-2 weeks
- Radiation sickness: 50 mg, 2-12 hours prior to radiation treatment
Children (12 years+): 12.5-50 mg PO, 1 hour before travel; Vertigo: 25-100 mg/day

- Caution when driving or doing activities requiring concentration (may cause drowsiness and dizziness)
