Indications

Allergic conjunctivitis (ocular itching from seasonal allergic conjunctivitis)
Postoperative eye inflammation (cataract surgery)
Ocular pain and burning/stinging following corneal refractive surgery
Cystoid macular edema

Dosage

Allergic Conjunctivitis (Adult & >2 years):

Instill 1 drop in affected eye(s) 4 times daily (q6hr)

Post-Cataract Surgery Pain & Inflammation (Adult & >2 years):

Instill 1 drop in affected eye(s) 4 times daily
Start 24 hours after surgery and continue for 4 days (adult) or 2 weeks (children)

Post-Corneal Refractive Surgery Pain & Burning/Stinging (Adult & >2 years):

Instill 1 drop in operated eye PRN
Continue for up to 4 days postoperatively

Children (<2 years): Safety and efficacy not established.

Precautions & warnings

Discontinue use if signs of corneal epithelial breakdown occur
Do not use while wearing contact lenses
Monitor corneal health closely
Use with caution in elderly, hepatic dysfunction, heart failure
Monitor renal function in mild renal impairment
