Indications
- Steroid-responsive inflammatory dermatoses
- Tinea Pedis (Athlete's foot)
- Tinea Cruris (Jock itch)
- Tinea Corporis (Ring worm)
- Pityriasis versicolor
- Cutaneous candidiasis
- Onychomycoses
Dosage
Adult Dose (Topical): Apply 2-3 times daily to affected area and rub gently with finger. Continue applications for 14 days.
Side effects
Common Side Effects:
- Transient local mild irritation
- Itching
- Redness
- Adrenal suppression (with prolonged use, especially in infants/children or with occlusive dressings)
Precautions & warnings
- For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Discontinue if hypersensitivity occurs.
- Keep infected area clean and dry during treatment.
- Adrenal suppression may occur with long-term topical steroid therapy, especially in infants/children or with occlusive dressings.
- An infant's napkin may act as an occlusive dressing.
