Luliconazole is an antifungal cream used for the treatment of fungal skin infections such as athlete's foot, dhobie itch, ringworm, and dry, flaky skin.
Indications
- Interdigital tinea pedis (athlete's foot)
- Tinea cruris (dhobie itch)
- Tinea corporis (ringworm)
Dosage
Adult Dose (Topical):
- Tinea Pedis: Apply to affected area and surrounding 1 inch once daily for 2 weeks
- Tinea Cruris and Tinea Corporis: Apply to affected area and surrounding 1 inch once daily for 1 week
Children (12-18 years): Tinea Corporis/Cruris: once daily for 1 week; Tinea Pedis (2-18 years): once daily for 2 weeks
Side effects
Common Side Effects:
- Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching, redness) - less than 1%
- Contact dermatitis
- Cellulitis
Precautions & warnings
- Discontinue use if allergic reaction occurs
- For topical use only; not for ophthalmic, oral, or intravaginal use
- Inform doctor if infection has not cleared after 4 weeks of treatment
