Netarsudil + Latanoprost is an eye drop used for reducing elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Netarsudil is a Rho kinase inhibitor and Latanoprost is a Prostaglandin F2 analogue.
Indications
- Open-angle glaucoma
- Ocular hypertension
Dosage
Adult Dose (Eye Drops):
- 1 drop in affected eye(s) once daily in the evening
Side effects
Common Side Effects:
- Conjunctival hyperemia (53%)
- Corneal verticillata (~20%)
- Instillation site pain
- Conjunctival hemorrhage
- Instillation site erythema (5-10%)
- Corneal staining
- Blurred vision
- Increased lacrimation
- Erythema of eyelid
- Reduced visual acuity
Precautions & warnings
- Caution in active intraocular inflammation (iritis/uveitis)
- May cause changes to pigmented tissues
- May gradually change eyelashes and vellus hair in treated eye
- Cystoid macular edema may occur
- Reactivation of Herpes Simplex keratitis may occur
