Pharmacology

Vitamins and minerals are essential for normal metabolic functions including hematopoiesis. Depending on ingredients, may support metabolic functions as well as protein and DNA synthesis.

Dosage

Pediatric Dose:

  • Below 1 year: 9-10 drops (0.3 ml) once daily
  • 1 year and above: 23-25 drops (1.0 ml) once daily

  • Generally well tolerated
  • Non-toxic at usual doses
Use in pregnancy

Use in Pregnancy: Indicated for children; not applicable for pregnancy.

Pregnancy Category: A — always consult a doctor before taking during pregnancy.

  • Excessive Vitamin A and D may cause hypervitaminosis
Overdose effects

Overdose may cause hypervitaminosis; symptomatic treatment.
