Salicylic Acid 16.7% + Lactic Acid 16.7% Topical Solution is used for the treatment of warts, corns, and calluses. Salicylic acid acts as a keratolytic agent and lactic acid destroys hyperkeratotic tissue.

- Warts

Dosage
Adult Dose (Topical):
- Soak affected area in hot water for 5 minutes
- Rub with pumice stone or emery board to remove dead skin
- Apply with brush applicator once daily to the affected area
- Allow to dry; cover with plaster if lesion is large
- Treatment period: 6-12 weeks (until completely cleared)
Side effects
Common Side Effects (Very Common):
- Application site reaction, pruritus, burning sensation, erythema, scaling, dryness
- Skin hypertrophy (Common)
Other:
- Rash (Common)
- Prolonged use over large areas may cause salicylate toxicity (tinnitus, diarrhea, vomiting)
Precautions & warnings
- Do not use on open wounds, irritated or reddened skin, or infected areas
- Do not use on face, eyes, mucous membranes, or anogenital region
- Do not use on moles, birthmarks, or unusual skin growths
- Use with caution in diabetes, circulatory problems, or peripheral neuropathy under medical supervision
- Avoid use in children or teenagers during chickenpox, influenza, or other viral infections
