Description
Ultra-Fine 4 mm is a pen needle manufactured by Synovia Pharma PLC. in Bangladesh. Its active ingredient is Insulin device & needle.
Indications
Use the injection technique as recommended by physician and/or health care professional. Press the push-button in fully for injection. Hold the push-button pressed down during medication discharge. After the medication has been completely discharged, wait for 6 seconds and then pull out the pen needle slowly. You may either hold the push-button pressed or release it during the 6 seconds.
Dosage & Administration
- Pen Preparation or Changing Cartridge
- Remove the pen cap.
- Remove the cartridge sleeve by turning it.
- Remove the empty cartridge if necessary.
- Insert the new cartridge into the cartridge sleeve.
- Push the threaded rod back completely.
- Attach the cartridge sleeve to the housing by turning it.
- Attach Pen Needle
- Pull off the peel foil.
- Twist on the pen needle to the cartridge sleeve. Check that the pen needle is attached correctly.
- Remove the outer needle protective cap. Keep the outer needle protective cap to safely remove and dispose of the pen needle after use.
- Remove and dispose the inner needle protective cap.
- Priming / Function Check
- Dial the test dose by turning the dosage knob clockwise (not less than 2 units).
- For the function check, hold the Pen pointing upwards and gently tap the cartridge sleeve, so that the air can rise to the top.
- Press the push-button.
- A few drops of insulin must emerge from the pen needle tip.
- Remove pen needle after each injection: Carefully attach the outer needle protective cap on the pen needle. Twist off the pen needle and dispose it correctly, according to the advice of your physician and/or health care professional.
Storage Conditions
Please store and handle your needles and cartridges according to the respective instructions for use. After each use, attach the pen cap. Always keep your Pen in the pen pouch, without a pen needle attached. Use and store your Pen at room temperature below or equal 30°C. please handle your Pen with care. Protect it from water, dust and moisture. A damp cloth is sufficient to clean your Pen. Please do not use alcohol, other solvents or cleaning agents. Never immerse your Pen in water, as this could damage the pen.

Indications
Use the injection method advised by your physician or healthcare professional. To administer the dose, press the injection button completely and keep it pressed while the medicine is being delivered. Once the full dose has been injected, keep the needle in place for approximately 6 seconds before slowly withdrawing it from the skin. During this 6-second period, the injection button may either remain pressed or be released.
Dosage
- Take off the pen cap.
- Turn the cartridge sleeve and detach it from the main pen body.
- If an empty cartridge is present, remove it.
- Place a new compatible cartridge into the cartridge sleeve.
- Push the threaded rod fully back into its starting position.
- Reconnect the cartridge sleeve to the pen body by turning it securely into place.
Attaching the Pen Needle
- Remove the protective peel seal from the new pen needle.
- Screw the needle securely onto the cartridge sleeve and make sure it is properly attached.
- Remove the outer needle cap and keep it aside, as it will be needed when removing the needle safely after the injection.
- Take off the inner needle cap and discard it.
Priming / Checking the Pen
- Turn the dose selector clockwise and set a test dose of at least 2 units.
- Hold the pen with the needle pointing upward and gently tap the cartridge sleeve so that any trapped air moves toward the top.
- Press the injection button completely.
- Check the needle tip. A few drops of insulin should appear, confirming that the pen is ready for use.
Removing the Needle After Injection
The pen needle should be removed after every injection. Carefully place the outer needle cap back over the needle, then unscrew the needle from the pen. Dispose of the used needle safely according to the instructions provided by your physician or healthcare professional.
