Brig. Gen. Professor Dr. Syed Waheduzzaman

Brigadier General (Retired) Professor Dr. Syed Waheduzzaman is a distinguished Plastic, Reconstructive & Burn Surgeon and senior physician in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He holds MBBS, FCPS (Surgery) and MS in Plastic Surgery, with comprehensive expertise in cosmetic, reconstructive, trauma and burn surgery.

Dr. Waheduzzaman serves as Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive & Burn Surgeon at Universal Medical College & Hospital Ltd., Dhaka, and has a strong clinical background in complex facial and body reconstructive procedures, burns treatment and rehabilitation, cosmetic enhancement surgeries, hand and breast surgery, diabetic foot reconstruction, and trauma‑related surgical care. He brings disciplined surgical precision and compassionate patient‑centered care to both elective and emergency cases.

Prior to his current practice, he held leadership roles including Head of Department of Burn & Plastic Surgery at Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka, where he was deeply involved in military and civilian surgical programs.
