Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahim Graduated from Sir Salimullah Medical College in 1999. He joined National institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital in 2009. He was trained in Thoracic Surgery and completed MS(Thoracic Surgery) in 2012. He worked as Registrar of Thoracic Surgery. He Promoted as Assistant Prof of Thoracic Surgery in 2016, Still now he is working in NIDCH. He Trained in Thoracic Surgery in Bangladesh and also from Abroad . He obtained higher training in VATS( Vedioassisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) in India, China, Korea, Ireland and Turkey. He is a Member of BATS (Bangladesh association for Thoracic Surgery), ESTS (European society of Thoracic Surgery), APSR (Asian Pacific Society Respirology), ERS (European Respiratory Society), Smits (society of minimally invasive Thoracic Surgery, India) etc. He had around 10 publications in National and international Journals. He is involved in leaching and training in Thoracic Surgery Residents and Fellows
