Dr. Aminur Rahman (Azad)

Dr. Aminur Rahman Azad is a Senior Consultant in Neurosurgery at Evercare Hospital Chattogram with over 20 years of experience. He completed his MS in Neurosurgery in 2005 and joined as an International Fellow at Fujita Health University, Japan. He is a pioneer of microscopic and endoscopic brain and spine surgery in Bangladesh, having introduced the technique in 2006. He has performed over 7,000 successful major brain and spine surgeries. His expertise includes microscopic and endoscopic brain tumour, stroke and spinal cord tumour surgeries, minimally invasive lumbar and cervical disc surgeries, spine fracture fixation, paediatric neurosurgery, and functional neurosurgery including intrathecal baclofen pump surgery, spinal cord stimulation, and vagus nerve stimulation for epilepsy. He has completed advanced fellowships in Japan, India, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE, and Germany.
