Dr. Ashique Ahmed Bhuiyan graduated with an MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College in 2011. He then pursued advanced training in Medicine for two years and in Hepatology for three years at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), ultimately earning an MD in Hepatology, the highest degree in liver studies in Bangladesh, in record time. To further enhance his expertise in liver and gastroenterological diseases, he visited and trained at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), Delhi, and the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG), Hyderabad, India.

Dr. Ashique Ahmed Bhuiyan began his professional career in 2019 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Universal Medical College Hospital, Mohakhali, and Dhaka. In 2022, he was promoted to Associate Professor and Head of the Liver and Gastroenterology Department at the same institution.
