Dr. Fariah Sharmeen successfully completed her MBBS from Cumilla Medial College, subsequently completed one year internship from BIRDEM Hospital, Dhaka. After completion of internship, she started her post graduation training in Medical Oncology at National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital.
She started her fellowship in Radiotherapy in 2010. She completed 4 years training at National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital on External Beam Radiotherapy Planning and Brachytherapy .
She achieved FCPS in Radiotherapy from Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS) in 2015. She has obtained several hands on trainings on Head - Neck, Lung, Genitourinary and Gynecological cancer treatment decision and advance radiotherapy planning arranged by IAEA. She also obtained training on Brachytherapy.
She is a member of Bangladesh Society of Radiation Oncologists (BSRO) and Oncology Club. She is an Executive member of Bangladesh Society for Breast Cancer Study (BSBCS). She is also a member of BMA.
Dr. Fariah participated in national and international workshops, seminars and conferences. She has several publications in reputed peer reviewed national and international journals.
She has more than 10 years of experience in Advance External Beam Radiotherapy Planning & Brachytherapy. She joined Square Oncology and Radiotherapy Centre in 2010.
Now she is working at Square Hospital as Associate Consultant, Oncology.
