• Senior Consultant – Obstetric, Gynae and Laparoscopic Surgery
• Dr. Ferdousi Chowdhury obtained her MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College. After her internship she was trained in Dhaka Medical College (Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynae) and obtained Diploma in Obs-Gyn (DGO) from Dhaka University.
• Then she started working in BSMMU (Dept. of Obs & Gynae) and obtained higher training in her respective field and successfully obtained FCPS (Obs & Gynae) from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS).
• In her long and successful carrier she worked in different Medical Colleges in various capacities. She was also involved in teaching of medical students.
• Dr. Ferdousi obtained Higher training in Laparoscopic Surgery from World Laparoscopy Hospital, India and Diploma fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery.
• She attended seminar & conferences in home and abroad and wrote number of articles on Obs-Gynae which published in national and international journals.
• Dr. Ferdousi has expertise in the field of Genital Fistula Surgery and Management.
• She developed special skill in all types of invasive placenta (placenta, accreta, increta & percreta) management that added value to her expertise.
• Now Dr. Ferdousi Chowdhury is working at Asgar Ali Hospital as Senior Consultant-Obstetric, Gynae & Laparoscopic Surgery and serving patients regularly.
