Dr. Kathak Das

Dr. Kathak Das is working as Consultant Ophthalmologist, Glaucoma Specialist & Phaco Surgeon in Bangladesh Eye Hospital Ctg Ltd and Chattrogram Lions Eye Institute & Hospital. He completed his M.B.B.S in 2012 and completed his internship from Bangabondhu memorial Hospital (BBMH) in 2013. He earned his post-graduation Diploma in ophthalmology (DO) from Bangabondhu sheikh mujib medical university (BSMMU) in 2017.

He completed his microsurgery & IOL training from Ispahani islamia eye institute and hospital (IIEI&H) in 2019. He completed his phaco training from Ispahani islamia eye institute and hospital (IIEI&H) in 2021. He received long term fellowship in Glaucoma from National institute of ophthalmology & hospital (NIO&H) year 2022. He received Clinical fellowship in Glaucoma from Aravind Eye Institute & Hospital, Madurai, India year 2023 and Moorfield Eye Hospital, UK year 2024.

He is experience in Medical, Laser & Surgical Glaucoma. He is a Micro and Phaco surgeon. He is the life member of Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh (OSB). He is also the life member of Bangladesh Glaucoma Society (BGC).

• MBBS from University of science and technology chittagong in 2012.
• Diploma in ophthalmology (DO) from Bangabandhu shiekh mujib medical university (BSMMU) in july 2017.
