Dr. Md. Farhad Hossain

Dr. Md. Farhad Hossain is a Consultant in the Vitreo-Retina Department & ROP Unit at Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital, and formerly served as an Assistant Professor at Enam Medical College Hospital. He is also a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Bangladesh Eye Hospital, Mirpur. With extensive experience in diagnosing, managing, and treating various retina-related disorders, including Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Detachment, and Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), Dr. Farhad Hossain is recognized for his expertise in the field. His proficiency spans retina surgeries, cataract surgeries, ROP screening and treatment, as well as a range of laser procedures for retinal diseases.

• MBBS from Dhaka Medical College Hospital
• MS in Ophthalmology from National Institute of Ophthalmology.

• Long-term fellowship in Vitreo-Retina (IIEI&H)
