Academic Qualifications:

Md. Shariful Islam Johnny has passed MBBS from Rangpur Medical College in 2000. 

He has joined to Bangladesh Govt Service in 2005 after passing BCS (Health) examination. 

 From 2008 he has started his journey from BSMMU (now Bangladesh Medical University, BMU) to build career as Cancer Specialist.

Dr. Jony  has started training in  2011 in the Department of Radiation Oncology of National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital (NICRH).   

He has also passed FCPS  (Radiotherapy) examination in 2016. 

Now he is one of the  best oncologist /cancer specialist of Bangladesh. 

For skill development in radiotherapy and Cancer treatment Dr. Johnny has completed training in different centres in different countries eg TMC (Tata Medical Centre); GOP Hospital, Turkey; LIV Hospital,  Istanbul, Turkey.

To improve skills he has also visited different radiotherapy centres of India, Sri Lanka, Thailand,  Malaysia,  Singapore. 

He has more than 18 years of experience of Cancer patient treatment. 

He is highly skilled in different kind of radiotherapy eg SRT, SBRT, VMAT, Rapid Arc,  IMRT, 3DCRT and Brachytherapy.  

Now Dr. Johnny is working in Radiation Oncology Dept of NICRH.
