• Dr. Md. Tanvir Rahman obtained his MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College (DMC).
• He obtained his MS in Orthopaedic Surgery from National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR).
• Clinical expertise of Dr. Tanvir includes- Complex Upper & Lower Limb Trauma, Pelvic & Acetabular Surgeries, Arthroplasty (Hip, Knee & Shoulder), Ilizarov & Limb Lengthening Techniques, Spinal Trauma & Fusion, Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery, Foot & Ankle Reconstruction. He is also Certified in both ‘Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)’ and ‘Diabetology’.
• With a particular focus on joint replacement surgery (Hip, Knee & Shoulder) and microscopic & endoscopic Spine Surgery, Dr. Rahman is dedicated to providing comprehensive care.
• Dr. Tanvir has contributed significantly to medical literature with more than 10 authored & co-authored publications and presented at multiple national & international Orthopaedic Conferences. His research focuses on outcomes in AP OA trauma, spine, arthroscopy and joint replacement.
• He holds memberships in the Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society (BOS), Bangladesh Spine Society (BSS), AO Trauma and AO Spine Society.
• He got trained both in Bangladesh & abroad on different specialities.
• He was previously affiliated with Trauma Centre and AO Orthopaedic Hospital and United Hospital Dhaka; afterwards Evercare Hospital, Dhaka in the Department of Orthopaedics & Trauma as Associate Consultant and Academic Coordinator for more than 10 years.
• Dr. Md. Tanvir Rahman is now working with Asgar Ali Hospital and serving patients regularly as Associate Consultant- Orthopaedics, Trauma & Spine Surgery.
