Obtained MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College under University of Dhaka in 1978 Completed Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from National University of Ireland in 1994 Completed FCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in 2007 Achieved MRCP from Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2009 Worked as Assistant Professor in the department of Paediatrics & Neonatology in Jahurul Islam Medical College & Hospital from 1994 to 2000 After that worked in the department of Paediatrics & Neonatology in King Khaled General Hospital, Saudi Arabia from 2000 to 2005 Joined and worked in Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Glasgow, UK as MRCP (Paediatrics & Neonatology) trainee from 2005 to 2006 Thereafter he served in Maternity & Children Hospital, Sakaka, Saudi Arabia from 2008 till 2012 as Specialist Physician and Paediatric ICU Coordinator in the department of Paediatrics & Neonatology Serving Continental Hospital as a Senior Consultant in the department of Paediatrics & Neonatology since 2012
