He holds an MBBS and a Diploma in Anesthesiology (DA) from Dhaka University, further strengthening his expertise with a Fellowship in Palliative Medicine from the Institute of Palliative Medicine (IPM), India. As a former BCS (Health) officer, he currently serves as a Senior Consultant and Associate Professor, as well as the Head of the Palliative Care Unit (PCU) at Delta Medical College & Hospital, Dhaka.
