Dr. Nizam Uddin Ahmed is a nephrologist with expertise in the area of hypertension, kidney diseases, dialysis and critical care nephrology. He has clinical interests in volume regulation and cardiovascular function in CKD and hemodialysis with combined heart and renal failure (Cardio-renal Syndrome). 

He completed his MBBS from Cumilla Medical College followed by MD in Nephrology from Dhaka Medical College. He worked in several hospitals and gained skills and experience in providing his patients with the best level of care. He has experience of working in Dhaka Medical College, in Medicine & Nephrology Department for many years. 

He worked as an Assistant Professor in a private Medical College in Dhaka and worked as Consultant of Nephrology in Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital for more than 3 years.
