Dr. Nuruddin Mohammod Zahangir obtained MS in Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery from National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases (NICVD), Dhaka. After which, he served in multiple government institutes. He was Assistant Professor of Cardiac Surgery in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He served as Associate Consultant in department of Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery in Evercare Hospital (the than Apollo Hospitals) Dhaka for 10 years. He was Chief Cardiac Surgeon in Dr. Sirajul Islam Medical College Hospital for 2 years. He has specialized training in Cardiac Surgery in renowned Cardiac Hospitals around the world as Narayana Hrudayalaya (Bangalore), Escort Heart Institute (New Delhi), Global Hospital (Chennai, India), Mayo Clinic (Minnesota, USA), Lenox Hill Hospital (New York, USA), University Hospitals of Wales (Cardiff, UK), and National University Hospital (Singapore). He is highly skilled and experienced in the treatment of coronary artery bypass surgery, Valvular Heart diseases, Aneurysm Surgery, Aortic Surgery, Paediatric Cardiac Surgery.
