Dr. Nurunnahar Mawla obtains MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1997 and completed her Internship in the same institution. She has got her M Phil in Microbiology from Sir Salimullah Medical College in 2007. Earlier she worked as Medical officer in different clinics of Dhaka and as a lecturer in State college of Health Science as well. After achieving the post graduation she served ICDDR,B  as Senior Scientific officer till 2010, then went to Vietnam where worked as Biologist in a French-Vietnam (FV) Hospital laboratory for one year. She then joined in Delta Medical College as Assistant Professor after coming back from Vietnam, worked for 4 years & promoted as Associate Professor there. At the same time she practiced her laboratory expertise in Eden Multi-care Hospital’s Laboratory. She participated some national and international conferences and presented Scientific papers. She has 3 original & 1 review articles published as First author, also many abstracts & articles as co-author. She has training on ‘Welcome Trust Advanced course Genomics and Clinical Microbiology’ in 2011 in UK, also on ISO 15189.

Dr. Nurunnahar joined Square Hospital as Associate Consultant of Microbiology and Infection Control department on May, 2015.
