Dr. Rajib Hasan is a Junior Consultant at Asgar Ali Hospital, Gandaria, Dhaka, practising in Critical Care.

Qualifications

• MBBS, FICM (India), EDIC (European Society of Intensive Care Medicine)
• Junior Consultant - Critical Care Medicine
• Dr. Rajib Hasan has obtained his MBBS degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital.
• Later on he achieved FICM (Fellowship in intensive care medicine) from India and also successfully completed the prestigious European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC) from the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM).
• Dr. Hasan has completed three distinct fellowships as top scoring candidate offered by the ESICM on Critical Care Nephrology (St Thomas’ Hospital, UK), Critical Care Nutrition (Karolinska University Hospital, Sweden) and Antimicrobial Stewardship in Severe Infection (Gemeli University Hospital, Italy).
• He has also completed advanced training on Critical Care Hematology under direct supervision of Prof. Elie Azoulay (St Louise Hospital, France).
• He has extensive teaching experience as an instructor in different CMEs and workshops on different topics of critical care medicine.
• With more than 20 publications, over 300 citations and an h-index of 5, his research contributions span across different sub-specialties in critical care medicine.
• He is a regular member of the ESICM and currently serving as the Secretary of Scientific Affairs of Acute & Critical Care Physicians Foundation Bangladesh (ACCPFB).
• Prior to joining Asgar Ali Hospital, Dr. Rajib Hasan worked as ‘Critical Care Specialist’ at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital, former United Hospital & Lab Aid Specialized Hospital.
• Now Dr. Rajib Hasan is at Asgar Ali Hospital as Junior Consultant - Critical Care Medicine and serving patients regularly.
