Dr. Somen Chowdhury

Dr. Somen Chowdhury is an MBBS and MD (Neurology) qualified Neurologist and currently serves as Consultant, Department of Neurology at Evercare Hospital Chattogram. He obtained his MD in Neurology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and has received advanced training in Neurology and Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Evercare Hospital Chattogram, he served as Consultant Neurologist at Apollo Imperial Hospital and as Head of the Department of Neurology at Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital Medical College. His areas of expertise include stroke, epilepsy, headache, low back pain, neck pain, dementia, paralysis, sleep disorders, and other neurological conditions. Dr. Somen Chowdhury has authored several publications in national and international journals and has actively participated in scientific seminars and conferences, where he has presented research papers. He is a member of the European Academy of Neurology, the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology, the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the Society of Neurologists of Bangladesh.
