Prof (Dr.) Brig Gen Md Liakat Ali Hyder is a distinguished orthodontist and dental surgeon with over 33 years of experience in Bangladesh and internationally. A Fellow of the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Hyder has a robust practice that spans both orthodontics and general dentistry. He also completed his 2 years master’s course in medical education from BSMMU with excellent results. He currently serves as the Consultant Dental Surgeon General at the Directorate General of Medical Service in Dhaka, where he leads the Army Dental Corps in delivering high-quality patient care, and ensuring best practices in diagnosis, treatment, and preventive dental service. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Hyder has garnered invaluable experience through his service with the United Nations in Liberia and Congo, further cementing his reputation with his work for the Kuwait Army. Furthermore, his contributions to national journals highlight his research in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics.
