Prof. Dr. Golam Mohiuddin Akbar Chy. graduated from Chittagong Medical College in 1981. After completion of in-service-training in IPGMR, present BSSMU, he started his carrier in the field of Surgery in 1984. Joining the FCPS (Surgery) course. After obtaining Fellowship in Surgery from BCPS, he work as Resident Surgeon in Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, Consultant Surgery in Sadar hospital Feni, as Assistant Professor in IPGMR Hospital. In 1994 he join as Associate Professor in National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH) and start the work in the field of Thoracic Surgery, initiative to develop this subject as individual field of Surgery, accordingly start MS (Thoracic Surgery) and FCPS (Thoracic Surgery) Course. So number off Doctors build their carrier in this field and serve the Nation now. He become Professor of Thoracic Surgery in 2004, and complete the Government job Oct 2016. Professor Golam Mohiuddin Akbar Chy start Thoracic Surgery in new Al-Raji Hospital in 1999 and continue in Green Life Hospital from its beginning till now.
