Maj Gen Prof. Dr. Md. Anisur Rahman Howlader

Maj Gen Prof. Dr. Md. Anisur Rahman Howlader is a Senior Consultant in Orthopaedics at Evercare Hospital Dhaka. He completed his MBBS from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College in 1989 and MS in Orthopaedics from NITOR in 2000. He received advanced orthopaedic training in India, Bangkok, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Germany, and Italy. He served as Consultant Surgeon General, Bangladesh Armed Forces (2023-2026), and previously as Professor and Head of Orthopaedics at CMH Dhaka, CMH Chattogram, CMH Jessore, and Armed Forces Medical College, Dhaka. He is an expert in joint replacement surgery of the knee, hip, and shoulder, and in arthroscopic ligament surgery of the knee and shoulder. He is President of the Shoulder Society of Bangladesh, Treasurer of the Bangladesh Arthroplasty Society, Vice President of the Bangladesh Arthroscopy Society, an active member of ISAKOS, and a life member of the Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society.
