Qualifications

• MBBS, MD (Cardiology), FACC, FSCAI
• Senior Consultant - Clinical & Interventional Cardiology
• Prof. (Dr.) Md. Mamunur Rashid (Sizar), passed his MBBS degree from Rajshahi Medical College in 1989.
• In January 2001, he obtained his MD (Cardiology) degree from Dhaka University.
• He has achieved prestigious Fellowship of American College of Cardiology (FACC) and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
• Dr. Md. Mamunur Rashid joined Government Service in 1991. He served Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital, Barisal as Assistant Professor in 2003, after which he held the same position in Faridpur Medical College Hospital from 2006 to 2009 and National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) from 2009 to 2010.
• He was promoted and became Associate Professor in 2010 and Professor (Cardiology) in 2013 at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD).
• Dr. Md. Mamunur Rashid obtained intensive training in Interventional Cardiology from India, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and Italy.
• He was the Academic Course Director of National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD).
• Dr. Md. Mamunur Rashid is the Treasurer of Bangladesh Cardiac Society; Vice President of Bangladesh Society of Cardiovascular Intervention and Board Member in Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (APSIC).
• Before joining Asgar Ali Hospital, he was the Professor & Head of Cardiology Department at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD).
• Now Prof. (Dr.) Md. Mamunur Rashid (Sizar) is working as the Senior Consultant- Clinical & Interventional Cardiology and serving patients regularly.
