Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury

Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury is a Senior Consultant in Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement Surgery at Evercare Hospital Chattogram with over 20 years of experience in Orthopaedics and Traumatology. He served as Professor and Head of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Chittagong Medical College. He completed his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College and MS in Orthopaedics from the University of Chittagong. He received advanced orthopaedic training in New Delhi, AO Advanced Course in Malaysia, and international courses in Arthroplasty, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Hand Surgery, and Pelvic-Acetabular Surgery. His clinical expertise includes Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery, Hand Surgery, Pelvic and Acetabular Surgery, and complex trauma management, with special interest in Scaphoid Fractures, Calcaneal Fractures, Fractures around the Elbow, and Radial Head Replacement. He has authored 10 peer-reviewed publications and is a Life Member of the Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society.
