Prof. Dr. Md. Zillur Rahman

Prof. Dr. Md. Zillur Rahman is a Senior Consultant in Neurosurgery at Evercare Hospital Chattogram. He completed his MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College in 1982, FCPS in General Surgery in 1993, and MS in Neurosurgery from BSMMU in 2000. He served as Associate Professor, Professor, and Head of Neurosurgery at Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (1999-2008), Shahid Sohrawardi Medical College Hospital (2008-2013), and Dhaka Medical College Hospital (2013-2017). He received advanced training from Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore (2004), Washington University School of Medicine, USA (2006), and McMaster University, Canada (2009). He has performed over 5,000 brain tumour, spine tumour, and spine surgeries, and is an expert in paediatric brain and hydrocephalus operations. He successfully performed an awake brain tumour surgery at Evercare Hospital Dhaka.
