Professor Zulfiqar Hasan obtained MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College in 1980. Then he joined in Government service in 1981 after completion of internship in the same institute. He has got vast experience of working in different government institutes namely IPGMR, BSMMU, Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Sir Salimullah Meical College and Mitford Hospital, NICVD, NIO, NITOR, Shaheed Suhrawardi Medical College and Hospital. His last appointment in Government service was in National Institute of Neuroscience and Hospital as the founder Head of the Anesthesia Department.

In the tenure of his long service period he was exposed to different specialties of Anesthesiology in different capacities. He has got vast experience in all sorts of General & Regional Anesthetic techniques with keen interest in Neuro and Paediatric anesthesia. He joined at Square Hospital as Senior Consultant, Anesthesiology in September 2015.
