Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahammed Chowdhury graduated from Mymensingh Medical College in 1983 and started government job in 1983 as Assistant Registrar National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD). In 1990 he obtained Diploma in Cardiology from National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) under Dhaka University, and worked as Registrar, Cardiology at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD). In 1993 he worked as R / P. at the same institute for 3 years. In 1996 he promoted as Assistant Professor (Cardiology) through PSC, and in 1999 promoted as Associate Professor (Cardiology) and posted at Bogra Medical College (Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College) and work in different Medical College in Same Post. Finally Posted at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in 2009 as Associate Professor and worked till Retirement in 2014 promoted as Professor of Cardiology. After retired in 2017 working in this hospital (Green Life Hospital) as full-time Consultant and working at Cath Lab of Green Life Heart Center. During his service time he attended in different Seminar, Symposium and Training in home and abroad. He had publications in various national and international journals. He is a Freedom Fighter, he trained in Tora camp at Meghalaya Pradesh at India and fight in Sub-Sector 11 under the leader ship of Bangabir Kader Siddique Bir Uttom.
