Prof. Dr. Rehana Parveen graduated from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College & stood first in order of merit in Final Prof Examination under University of Dhaka with Honors marks in Obs & Gyne in 1983. She obtained FCPS degree from Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS) in 1992.

As a popular teacher she worked in many medical colleges such as, Dhaka Medical College, Chittagong Medical College, Mymensingh Medical College, Osmani Medical College, Suhrawardy Medical College & lastly in National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICR&H). She has vast experience in teaching & treating patients of Obgyn (including Gyne Oncology) for about 25 years & exerted her duties solely as Gynecological Oncologist for over 7 years. Before joining Square Hospital, she was Head, Department of Gyne Oncology in NICR&H, Mohakhali. Under her dynamic leadership training in Gyne Oncology has been recognized for 3 years in NICR&H by BCPS for FCPS Degree. 

She took training in a good number of national & international institutes. She had post-graduate training on Gyne Oncology, Colposcopy & Cancer screening in BSMMU, Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute in Kolkata, Ethicon Institute in Mumbai, Nowrosjee Wadia Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India, Turkish Health Institute, Ankara, Turkey.

She has publication of about 18 articles, published in different national & international journals. She is a co-author of three popular books, named “Clinical Guide to Obstetrics & Gynecology”. She is also an honorary contributor of ‘Essence of Pediatrics’ published by Elseviere from New Delhi. 

Now she is consulting patients as a full time Consultant of Gynecological Oncology in Square Hospital.
