Professor Dr. Sufia Nasrin Rita passed BDS from Chittagong Medical College under Chittagong University in 2000. After training and research, she passed FCPS in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics FIRST TIME in Bangladesh from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in 2007. She gained different medical and dental skills by doing extensive training on different subjects of dentistry. 

Professor Rita is related to many clinical and academic activities by delivering lectures, developing course curriculum for students and dental doctors and she is the question setter, moderator and examiner of BDS, MCPS, FCPS examinations. She presented on dentistry and orthodontics in several scientific conferences and published 30 scientific articles in recognized reputed journals. She used to deliver awareness speech and treatment advices regularly in Televisions and Social Medias. Professor Dr. Sufia Nasrin Rita had been serving patients with treating general diseases of oral cavity, teeth and gum by scaling, polishing, filling, Root Canal Treatment, removal of teeth, replacement of missing teeth for the last 26 years in different clinics and hospitals of Bangladesh. Her special interest is mostly on improving facial appearances and beauty with correction of spacing, irregularity, malalignment and malposition of teeth and jaws by BRACES and Clear AlignersOrthodontic treatment of both children and adults. Prof. Rita is the editorial board member of BCPS Journal and also the member of Faculty of Dentistry, IT, Medical Education Department ofBCPS.  She is founder joint secretary of the charitable organization “Oral Cancer Care and Research (OCCR)”. 

At present she is working as Professor and Head of Dept of Orthodontics in Sapporo Dental College in the morning and as Senior Consultant of Dental Surgery and Orthodontics at Square Hospitals Ltd in the evening.
