Dr. M. A. Masud Hashmee

Dr. M.A. Masud Hashmee hails from Sirajganj district not too far from the capital city. He passed MBBS from MMCH in 1998, subsequently completed one year honorary training from Islamia Eye Hospital. Diploma in Ophthalmology is achieved in the year 2004 under BSMMU and ICO degree in 2007 from UK. He also had 15 months fellowship in Vitreo Retina from Islamia Eye Hospital in 2013, 30 days ROP training in LVPEI, Hyderabad in 2014. Obtained prestigious phaco training under alcon USA based PDprograme. He attended number of seminars & symposiums in Bangladesh & abroad India in particular. Ten years of continuous hands on working experience in different fields in Islamia Eye Hospital. He engaged in Phaco surgery now a days along with big number of retina surgeries. It can be added that has done more than 2000 retina surgery till now from the beginning of his career. He is a full time consultant in Bangladesh Eye Hospital as well as a founder director of Shantinagar branch of Bangladesh
