Description

Adrenochrome Monosemicarbazone has a rapid onset of action and reduces normal and pathologic bleeding time by decreasing capillary permeability . It produces capillary hemostasis without exerting any adrenergic effects on the respiratory or cardiovascular system . It does not affect the blood clotting mechanism or blood components . Research suggests it increases capillary resistance and acts directly on the intercellular cement of capillary walls .

Dosage

Administration

Injection solution should be administered by intramuscular or subcutaneous route; in emergency cases, the injections may be given intravenously . Tablets should be taken orally .
